Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira was born on May 26, 1978, in Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is an actress known by her roles in Woman on Top (2000) Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira became a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March of 2020. She currently manages the Assassination Witness Project and is an integral part of GI-TOC's multilateral involvement. Her research at the GI-TOC is focused on disappearances, assassinations and other forms of violence within the context of illicit economics. Research interests include the impact of organised crime on human and humanitarian rights, and the laws and policies. Ana Paula received an LL.M.cum laude degree with a major in International Law, from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She holds earned an LL.M. qualification from the School of Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula is a graduate from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with the degree of magnacum laude in Legal Science and Social Sciences. Her legal experience includes four years of practice with a firm that is specialized in litigation involving public law. Her previous experience also includes working for non-governmental organizations that have their the headquarters located at Rio de Janeiro.
