Anna Chlumsky
Anna Chlumsky is a critically well-known American actress who gained fame as a child actor in the film 'My Girl"' as well as its sequel 'My Girl 2'. Her charm continued to be awe-inspiring for audiences with her lead part in films such as "Trading Mom," and "Gold Diggers: the Secret of Bear Mountain'. She was awarded numerous awards for her performance during these films in the beginning of her career. The woman who was a bit distant from her peers in school when filming, started to get alienated from the world of showbusiness during her senior years. Her interest in the acting industry began to wane and she was able to focus on the schooling. Although she wanted to become a food writer however, her best chance was an opportunity to be a fact-checker for Zagat restaurant guides. Even her next assignment as an editorial assistant at HarperCollins caused her to feel depressed. When she decided to get back into acting, and on the advice of a professional agent, she started taking classes to improve her talents. Then, she landed the role as Liza in the play 'In the Loop' and started to feature on stage in Off Broadway plays. She isn't sure what would be the outcome had she not taken time away from acting, it is a good thing that she didn't.
